Josh Fernandez

Josh was born premature and after a few months developed RSV. As a result of this respiratory infection, he developed a chronic lung condition, Bronchiolitis Obliterans, similar to Cystic Fibrosis. Eleven years ago, Josh received a life-saving double lung transplant. Tragically, his body is now rejecting those lungs, and his health has declined rapidly. He is back on the national lung transplant list.

Josh was fortunate to receive his second double lung transplant July 2026. He is now doing really well.
